During the transition from dance work to the visual artistic work phase, there were many considerations and studies on the concept of ‘bodies’ in philosophical and popular contexts. I subsequently illustrated the resulting images or imaginations in simple material; that is, I developed representatives of different physical states of bodies, to be assigned to different mental fields.
The DeForms were the first operational element I engaged. With them, I was able to visualise the experiences I had gained from the ‘GroßDruckBelastungskörper’ (HighPressureLoadbody).
On drawings, I placed them as building blocks of structures at intervals evenly spaced from one another. They vaguely resemble stone weights, and the question arises:
are these pre-functional or deformed forms?
